Write short book reviews here. You can summarize books, but preferably just tell why a book was good or bad.

I have to write a review about my favorite book Red Storm Rising, by Tom Clancy and Larry Bond. This book was packed with military action on the ground, at sea, and in the air. By reading it, you gain insight into the military (technology, doctrine, etc.), intelligence operations (espionage), and politics (national and international). A good read for both entertainment and informative reasons.

I forgot to mention that, although good, it is long: about 725 pages in paperback. So be prepared for many sittings. Well worth it, though. Most other Tom Clancy books are as long or longer and not near as good.

This is a good book about Desert Storm. I'll try not to be too detailed, but it talks about what happened to a British SAS team behind enemy lines in Iraq, and describes their trials and tribulations. It's easy to read, because it's written like a novel and not like a documentary. I recommend it for anyone interested in military history or anyone who wants to become a commando, like Navy Seals, Delta Force, Rangers, Special Forces (Green Berets), etc.

i'm reading a book called the Darwin Awards, it's a funny book. it's a book about funny stuff that humans do. there's some pretty stupid stuff,
like the guy that jumped in shamu's aquarium,
or the guy that wanted to show some foreigners how strong super glue was, so he glued his hands to a rhino's butt and the rhino dragged him everywhere. that's not the worst part though, the rhino had to take laxatives, so he pooped like crazy on the guy too. needless to say, the foreigners bought superglue since it was so strong
